Social Value Consultancy Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically, transparently, and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery does not occur within our organisation or our supply chains.

This policy is designed to ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. 

 

  1. Scope

This policy applies to: 

  • All employees, contractors, freelancers, and associates 
  • Our clients, partners, and suppliers 
  • All locations in which we operate or source services 

 

  1. Our Commitment

We will: 

  • Not tolerate or knowingly engage with any organisation involved in slavery or human trafficking 
  • Monitor our supply chain and subcontractors to ensure compliance 
  • Incorporate anti-slavery clauses in our supplier contracts 
  • Conduct due diligence where appropriate, particularly for higher-risk sectors 
  • Train relevant staff on identifying and reporting modern slavery concerns 

 

  1. Due Diligence and Supply Chains

While the risk in our sector is low, we nonetheless: 

  • Maintain a list of approved suppliers and partners 
  • Conduct risk assessments and apply additional checks for suppliers in higher-risk categories or geographies 
  • Expect all suppliers to operate in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act and relevant international standards 

 

  1. Training and Awareness

All employees and contractors are provided with information about this policy during onboarding. Periodic reminders and updates are issued as needed, and key staff receive training in: 

  • Recognising signs of modern slavery 
  • Responding appropriately to disclosures or concerns 
  • Reporting issues internally 

 

  1. Reporting and Whistleblowing

We encourage all employees, contractors, and third parties to report any concerns about slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains. Reports can be made confidentially to:
